The Dubai Opera is a multi-functional performing arts center, accommodating up to 2,000 spectators and located in the heart of Dubai. This unique complex was created by the Emirati company Emaar Properties and is designed to host a variety of cultural events: from theatrical productions and operas to ballet performances, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. The idea of its creation was announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in March 2012, and the construction work was completed in 2016.
